We are the proud owners of a new smoker. Over the past few months, we've been practicing the art of smoking ribs, pork shoulder and chicken at low temperatures for countless hours.
The results have been fantastic, so now it's time to take our low and slow smokey BBQ to the public.
On August 8, 2010, we'll be holding a Southern style BBQ picnic at the fantastic outdoor space of Good Co. bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Only a few blocks from the Bedford stop on the L train, we'll have a big, open outdoor space perfect for a summer BBQ evening.
For only $35 per person, you'll get the following:
12 Hour Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Smoked Chili Chicken
Shaved Coleslaw with Old Bay Aioli
Purple Potato Salad
Charred Summer Corn Salad
Tomato, Watermelon Salad
Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches
&2 Cold Pints of Brooklyn Beer
Singles, couples and large parties are all welcome. We'll have picnic tables and ample outdoor space, as well as indoor seating at the bar if it rains or if you need a break from the heat.
In addition to the two beers you'll get with the cost of your ticket, you can also purchase additional drinks of your choice at the cash bar.
We accept reservations on a first come, first served basis only. We will accept walk-in guests on the day of the event, but ONLY if the event is not sold out. With only 65 tickets available, it's best to purchase tickets online in advance.
